FriendlyELEC CM3588 nvme problem

Hello,
I have this motherboard and a pack of WD Black SSDs (which were a good price at the time). Shortly after setting everything up, two out of four disks failed completely and were no longer recognized. I thought it might just be a bad batch, so I sent those two for replacement with WD and received new ones without any hassle.
Now, just a few weeks later, I’ve discovered that another SSD is effectively dead—SMART indicates it's in a BAD state and read-only. This is leading me to wonder if the issue might not be with the disks themselves, but rather with the motherboard.
Of course, I'm just speculating and don’t have any concrete evidence. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
